Pete Wilkinson: Founder and lead instructor of The Wilkinson Academy (1989), perhaps the nation’s most successful life skills and athletic development program. The Academy program grew into and now has been succeeded by the Wilkinson Sports and Life Performance Academy program in 2011, reflecting the enhanced depth of the performance and leadership-based emphasis of the program. Pete has over 45 years of coaching, player development and program development experience and is a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association, a national organization dedicated to the development of collegiate baseball. Pete Wilkinson was one of the pioneers of the instruction business. As a former player for Hall of Fame Coach Rod Dedeaux of USC, he studied the game at the highest level. Upon retirement, Wilkinson went on to create one of the most respected baseball academies in the world. His Academy has never been about volume, but more about working with players who have made a commitment to learn how to increase their baseball skill. Dean Foster: Long time manager and director of the Northwest Region of the American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC) Connie Mack Baseball Division, Dean was the 2009 AABC Executive of the Year award. He serves as Executive Director of the nonprofit Wilkinson Baseball Club’s summer baseball program, as he has since 1991. No one has dedicated himself more sincerely or effectively to the growth of Washington’s next generations than Dean.
Vicki Gardner, 1997 USA Baseball: State of Washington Coach of the Year, Vicki has been an instructor in the Wilkinson life skills program and has coached the Wilkinson Cardinals since 1994, Vicki has helped hundreds of young men discover their own paths in baseball and in life.
Fred Wilhelm: Former right-handed pitcher who chose to get into coaching and performance-related instruction early in his college career. Fred will earn his Bachelor’s degree this spring from Linfield College and coach the Wilkinson Cardinals team, which he has done since 2010.
Joe Pulitano: Former left-handed pitcher for Seattle University, Joe has coached the Wilkinson Cardinals since 2011, working with the pitchers and outfielders. Joe is completing his junior year of study at Washington State University.
